# The Dog Who Noticed the Snake
Every afternoon, almost at exactly the same time, the dog would leave the living room and walk toward an old wooden door at the end of the hallway. The door belonged to a small storage room that had been closed for years. Nobody in the house used it anymore, and the owner had almost forgotten what was inside. There were only a few old boxes, pieces of unused furniture, and dusty household items. Yet the dog seemed unusually interested in that particular door. He would sit directly in front of it for a long time, staring at the narrow gap underneath. Sometimes he tilted his head and raised his ears as if he were listening to something hidden on the other side. 🐶 At first, the owner thought it was nothing important.
